Archaeologist
In May 2009 HAF will be needing an archaeologist with excavation and field survey experience to work in the Lake Titicaca Temple Project excavations in the Alti Plano of Bolivia. The initial contract will be six months with future contracts a definite possibility for a good worker. Applicant must be fluent in Spanish and English, ability to learn indigenous languages and with a minimal amount of archaeological experience. Post-graduate level preferred but not necessary. A proven record a ability to write, data collect and analyse. Salary based on experience. Applicant must be South American and preferrably Bolivian.
Archaeologist Assistant
In May 2009 HAF will be needing an archaeologists assistant with/without experience to help with the Lake Titicaca Temple Project excavations in the Alti Plano of Bolivia. The initial contract will be for four molnths with future contracts a defenite possibility for a good worker. Completed undergraduate studies in archaeology or anthropology necessary, fluency in Spanish and English and ability to learn indigenous languages. No previous experience necessary. Age limit 32, physical fitness essential. Salary based on experience. Applicant must be South American and preferrably Bolivian.
Laboratory Manager
In May 2009 HAF will be needing a Laboratory Manager with experience to help with the Lake Titicaca Temple Project excavations in the Alti Plano of Bolivia. Preferred applicant has experience in data collection & management, collection management & stabilization, ceramic reconstruction and general laboratory management and analysis skills. Applicant must be fluent in Spanish and English, and able to work in both group and solo environments. Good writing and communication skills essential. Initial contract six months with future contracts a definite possibility for a good worker with initiative. Applicant is preferrably Bolivian or South American.
